The brief
Thirty skincare and haircare formulas at designer-brand prices needed a storefront with the restraint of a couture label.
The first version ran on stock photography, and every image had to be replaced with one that belonged to Valoré alone. The site had to feel expensive in the way it moves, not in how loudly it sells.
What we built
The parts that matter.
- 01
Molten gold, live
The hero is a WebGL shader of liquid gold that swirls under the cursor. The wordmark sits on top as real type, so it stays sharp and paints first.
- 02
One morning, in light
As the section arrives, a morning passes over the oil: blue pre-dawn, then a window's worth of sun slides across the wall and settles on the bottle, the oil glows and throws gold onto the stone, and only then does the line appear. It plays once by itself and stays lit, so it never holds up the scroll.
- 03
The collection, sideways
On a desktop the bestsellers pin and scrolling carries them sideways. On a phone it becomes a swipe rail, because pinned sideways scroll fights a thumb.
- 04
An ingredient dial
Scrolling turns a dial through the ten key ingredients: what each one does and the formulas that carry it, one click from the product.
- 05
A photography family
42 product shots and 6 texture studies, art-directed and rendered for the brand: frosted glass, brushed champagne-gold caps, travertine and window light, every label spelled right.
- 06
Transitions with manners
An ink curtain carrying the wordmark lifts off each new page. It never plays on the first visit, so it can't slow the first paint, and every animation stands still for visitors who ask for reduced motion.
In motion
Screenshots don't do it justice.
Recorded on the live site, nothing staged. Each one plays as it comes into view.
Product photography
One shelf, one light.
One look for every product: frosted cream glass, brushed champagne gold, travertine and soft window light. Art-directed and rendered for the brand, then held to one reference so all 42 shots sit together on a shelf.

In the client's words
Luxury is in the details. It should never feel forced or excessive—it should simply feel right. Alex understood that from the beginning. He gave Valoré the elegance, restraint, and sophistication I wanted, and the result speaks for itself.
